ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
Financial Statement Closing, Balance Sheet Management& Analytical Review
Coordinating the monthly reconciliation process (from transactional activity to reconciliation to overall analysis) for all balance sheet accounts within the general ledger; including individual accountability for assigned account reconciliations.
Agreed tasks assisting in the timely and accurate preparation of monthly financial statements for the Company in accordance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles, as well as schedules established to meet parent company reporting timetables.
Utilizing the books and records of the company, preparing data analysis and overall analytical review supporting quarterly and year-end reporting schedules.
Monitoring certain key performance indicators and facilitate corrective action as appropriate.
Thorough understanding of project accounting, including detailed understanding, legal entity implications, and profitability analysis of project results.
Preparing other reports and information as required by the business.
Budgeting and Forecasting
Principal support to assigned business units for analysis, controls and preparation of the Budgets and Forecasts.
Investigates actual financial results compared with Budget/Forecast and prior periods, highlighting trends and explaining variances for inclusion with monthly financial statements.
Legal Entity Accounting
Maintaining the complete financial records in our electronic system.
Requirements: Experience:
***A minimum of 5+ years of experience in a metals manufacturing oriented organization or a similar industry.*** Must have very good tenure, no job hoppers.***
Experience with Oracle and QuickBooks or other bookkeeping software desired.
Skills:
Comfortable with a very busy, widely varied position.
MUST HAVE INDUSTRIAL MANUFACTURING EXPERIENCE!!!!
