SUMMARY OF FUNCTIONS:
The Senior IT Systems Analyst is responsible for delivering and maintaining the Dynamics Great Plains ERP application and other business systems that support finance, manufacturing, supply chain, sales and marketing. Duties include all aspects of the project management and software development lifecycle.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Manage development and support activities for Great Plains ERP system and other business applications.
Gather requirements, create design specifications, and develop application code for system enhancements, interfaces and reports.
Troubleshoot and assist in resolution of operational issues for Great Plains and other business application systems.
Create/Modify SQL objects for scripting, reporting and troubleshooting.
Identify and lead continuous improvement projects partnering with business stakeholders to define project including scope, business benefits, business requirements, project approach, project budget, and project schedule.
Lead vendor and product evaluations of proposed new technology solutions Develop project plans and identify resources needed to achieve project goals.
Participate in the design and development of test plans for executing unit, integration, system or acceptance testing in order to ensure solution meets the business requirements
Develop conversion, implementation and contingency plans for assigned projects.
Develop training strategy and oversee or provide training and user documentation for new systems and large enhancements.
Create system documentation where applicable adhering to Sarbanes-Oxley standards.
Manage projects and vendors services for the development and support of custom and package software solutions
Performs other duties as needed.
SKILLS, EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
· Minimum Bachelors Degree (B.A.) from a four-year college or university; with a minimum of 6-8 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
· 5+ years of systems analysis and program development
· Knowledge and experience working with ERP applications, Dynamics Great Plains preferred
· Hands on development experience with SQL Server 2005, stored procedures, triggers, reporting services, DTS, and query optimization
· Knowledge or experience with web and reporting technologies such as C##/ASP.NET, Sharepoint, TM1/Cognos is a plus.
