Description:
Perot Systems Corporation is a worldwide provider of information technology services and business solutions to a broad range of clients. We are currently looking for a Sr. Instructor to join our team in Plano, TX.
Job Responsibilities:
Responsible for the delivery of virtual and in-classroom courses to key roles, leadership and senior-level individual contributor audiences across Perot Systems.
Work in team, as part of the Implementation Team within the Corporate Learning and Development functional area, to deliver (any/all) Perot Systems courses.
Will act as the Course Implementation Owner on assigned courses with responsibilities for building the implementation plan, training additional instructors, recommending changes based on evaluation and testing results and overseeing the course change management process.
Help create and effectively implement L&D processes to ensure seamless delivery, timely problem identification/resolution, positive associate satisfaction scores and accuracy of value-based metrics.
Interface as required with senior leaders, subject matter experts, associates and vendors.
Work closely with L&D Program Owner and Instructional Designer for each course.
Work closely with all L&D team members to ensure course sponsor intent and approved course designs are carried forward efficiently and are effective in meeting the learning objectives.
Required Skills:
8+ years experience in instructing and facilitating leadership, sales and business skills courses. Prefer experience in both traditional and virtual classrooms. (Project Management and PMP certification a plus.)
Strong business mindset. Understands financial models, business processes, customer/market segment analysis. Can readily speak to business/market drivers, new business development approaches, contract management, customer satisfaction and global delivery.
Strong leadership skills. Proved record of leading successful teams (Internal candidates must receive recommendation from HR Business Leader based on handling of any associate relations cases.)
Strong analysis and strategic thinking capabilities. Must be able to identify underlying intent and patterns, formulate clear approaches to address opportunities and issues with students, and effectively interact with a wide variety of personality types. (Certifications for MBTI Practitioner or other assessments a plus.)
Advanced ability to communicate thoughts and concepts in both in verbal and written forms appropriate for both internal and client senior-level leaders from the C-suite down. Ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to a non-technical community and business concepts to a technical community.
Experience creating models and diagrams to explain concepts.
Proficient in MS Office Products.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to work within aggressive timelines. Flexible.
Excellent relationship skills and commitment to customer service.
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a fast-paced dynamic team. Experience working with a globally dispersed team.
Desired Skills:
Experience debriefing 360 and other assessment instruments. Experience facilitating team interventions.
MBA and/or Educational Certifications.
Minimum Educational Requirements:
Bachelors Degree in an Education or Business related area.
