Hardware Development Engineer

The primary responsibility will be to develop, design, and implement electronic state of the art circuit boards
What You’ll Need:
· Design and capture schematics of electronic circuits, both analog and digital
· Design and implement products from the early concept phase through product manufacturing
· Help develop the product’s development plan, architecture, requirements, component selection, hardware and software design, product verification testing, and assist in compliance testing and manufacturing
· Participate in small teams to research, develop, and transition Ethernet products to high volume manufacture
· Test and verify new hardware designs
· Design and implement Electronic Stress Tests to ensure the reliability of the product.
· Design and implement testing capability to verify the circuit board and/or system functionality.
· Interface directly with the manufacturing organizations
· Coordinate multiple vendors
· Support Panduit’s Quality Programs
· Assure adherence to appropriate regulatory agencies and standards (ISO, OSHA, UL, Military, etc.)
Plus:
· Cadence HDL and/or Orcad Tool Suites, SPICE simulations, Assembly Programming, C-Programming, Verilog, VHDL, FPGA/CPLD Vendor tools, Microsoft Office and Microsoft Project experience seen as a plus
Digital and Analog (e.g., processor complexes, drivers and power supplies) Hardware design and development experience at the board level
