JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
As the new Sr. Accountant for SEC Reporting, you will have a managerial role in our client's corporate accounting department. Reporting into an Accounting Manager, you will be responsible for the company's SEC financial reporting function including the 10Q, 10K, footnotes, etc. This position will require you to research and provide positioning papers on the latest pronouncements of various accounting standards and procedures that affect the company. To help you with the will have two staff level direct reports.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
? Certified Public Accountant (CPA) with a degree from well respected business school
? Six or more years of work experience which includes corporate SEC accounting experience and work at a ‘Big 4’ CPA firm
? Ability to research accounting pronouncements and write positioning papers.
? Excellent human relations skills – both written and oral.
COMPENSATION PACKAGE:
Salary Range $75,000 - $95,000 with 15 % bonus and generous benefits.
