Description:
Summary:
Oversee the banking teller line; process deposits, transfers, withdrawals, and other transactions in accordance with established policies and procedures; must be continuously aware of fraud loss and check cashing guidelines as well as all security and transaction documentation requirements. Also responsible for the security of assigned cash which must be maintained and balanced within established guidelines.
Responsibilities:
Provide extraordinary customer service
Greet customers/prospects in the lobby and on the phone
Exhibit strong relationship-building and teamwork skills
Process transactions within established policies
Act in compliance with all banking regulations
Maintain supply and sale of consignment items
Identify and refer sales opportunities to platform staff
Promote sales opportunities to contribute to branch sales goals
Provide coaching and training to the tellers
Manage the functions of the teller line and orchestrate daily operations in a fast-paced cash-handling environment
All other job duties as assigned
Requirements:
Basic Qualifications:
High School Diploma, GED or equivalent
Completion of the teller training program and/or no less than one year teller work experience
Preferred Qualifications:
Flexibility in schedule and ability to work at more than one branch location
Staff oversight experience, ideally in a retail environment
College degree preferred
Spanish/English preferred
