SW Engineer – Workflow Management Applications Integration

The Workflow Management Application Integration Engineer will work with Product Marketing, software development, and external parties to develop integrations between Panduit's Intelligent Infrastructure Management System and workflow software applications. Typical 3rd party integrations will be with BMC Remedy, ITSM, HP Service Manager, Peregrine Service Center, HP Service Desk or CA-Unicenter. The Workflow Management Application Integration Engineer will develop project requirements and specifications, and manage those requirements end to end through design and customer acceptance testing.
Duties include:
Specify and code integration interfaces, and allocate requirements between Panduit's and external systems. Define project standards for documentation.
Establish integration processes and standards. Prioritize and plan project milestones. Communicate task status, proactively manage risk. Direct team members during the implementation of integration. Develop test plans and direct team members during test plan execution.
Work with partner companies to define, implement, accept, and support custom system integrations.
Skills, Training, Experience Required:
Bachelors Degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science
Java coding and J2EE platform experience
Project experience integrating with Remedy ITSM (Incident, Change, Problem, Asset or CMDB modules) or equivalent product.
Knowledge/experience with BMC's Atrium Intergration Engineer (AIE) preferred.
Remedy Approved Consultant preferred.
Minimum 5 years of experience with software applications integration
Must have expert-level knowledge of software engineering methodologies and lifecycle models.
Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills
