Full-Time Logistics Pharmacy Technician
SOPS Pharmacy Distribution Center, Tewksbury, MA
Description: As a Logistics Pharmacy Technician, you will operate a personal motor vehicle to transport medication and materials to designated locations throughout the state, primarily to Tewksbury Hospital. You will perform related courier and technical duties in the Pharmacy Distribution Center as needed. Hours are M–F 7:00am to 3:30pm with potential weekends and evenings.
Qualifications:
· High school diploma or equivalency
· Current and valid driver’s license – Massachusetts Class A or B
· Driving record free of violations for the prior five years.
· Driving record free of convictions for drug and/or alcohol-related offenses
· Ability to pass a check of your motor vehicle record
· Ability to obtain security clearance to enter hospital and prison (DOC) patient care areas
· Knowledge of state laws, rules and regulations and safety practices governing motor vehicle operations
· Knowledge of motor vehicle preventive maintenance procedures
· MA Pharmacy Technician registration preferred
· Previous experience providing superior customer service preferred
Facility: CPS manages pharmacy operations for the Massachusetts State Office for Pharmacy Services (SOPS). SOPS provides comprehensive pharmacy services to state public sector healthcare organizations and hospitals. The Office provides pharmacy delivery; establishes up to date clinical pharmacy practice; assures full regulatory compliance; implements and maintains the latest pharmacy computer software; and provides for all aspects of budgeting and purchasing including reporting, forecasting, and accounts payable. You will be employed by CPS.
