Enclipse is seeking a qualified Information Architect to work for our premier client in Pleasanton, CA. This is with a major medical healthcare provider. This is an Information Architecture position for the Enterprise Architecture group. DUTIESDevelop and maintain current state and future state information architectural artifacts for conceptual, logical and implementation levels of abstractionWork with various stakeholder groups to articulate information requirements and socialize information architecture principles and artifacts Ensure that IT projects adhere to the principles, guidelines and standards established by information architecture Assess industry standards for information models, and where appropriate incorporate them into our information architecture standards.Define the governance architecture necessary to allow data stewardship to truly be owned by our business partners.Ensure that the semantics of project level definitions and schemas are mapped to the enterprise viewpoint taking into account permissible variation across business units Collaborate with other enterprise architecture domains to develop comprehensive solution architectures that include the information perspective JOB REQUIREMENTSMUST HAVE Data Virtualization and SOA quantified on the Resume.15 years information technology experience (there is leniency)10 years architecture experience (there is leniency)Experience delivering architecture for multiple RDBMS platforms and physical database schema designMust come from a large corporate environments.Must have a minimum of 5+ years of strong Data Architecture as well as 10+ years of overall Architecture experience.Experience working in a service oriented architectureExperience working in large organizations with geographically dispersed teams and complex technical environmentsExcellent oral and written communication skillsThe ability to use charts and graphs to convey core architecture concepts is a requirement. (A review of architecture artifacts which contain charts that the architect has composed will be required as a part of the interview process.)Strong customer focus with a demonstrated ability to work seamlessly with business sponsors and technologistsProven track record of implementing and actively managing fundamental information architecture frameworks, methodologies, and architecturesBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information systems, Computer Engineering, or equivalentHealth care experience is a plus Benefits available Locals preferred (no relocation assistance available) W2 only (can go C2C after contract is secured)
