JOB FUNCTION:
Responsible for tracking insurance on real estate loans, clearing exceptions and force placing insurance as appropriate in accordance with federal regulations.Responsible for providing information to clients regarding consumer loans.Responsible for identifying, researching, solving and/or responding to requests, inquiries, and problem situations in a timely manner.The Retail Loan Operations Processor III performs his/her duties with limited supervision and has few errors.

REGULAR DUTIES:
With minimum supervision, reviews insurance policies and loan systems to ensure compliance with federal and state lending regulations, and bank policies and procedures.
Assists in reconciling Force Placed Insurance general ledger account(s).
Assists other Processors with more complex loans and/or compliance issues.
Verifies and documents all insurance tracking issues and works with internal and external partners to resolve issues.
Responsible for working with Processors I and II on clearing all exceptions on insurance as well as some vehicle title work and reporting to immediate supervisor with continuing exception problems.
Coordinates and maintains an adequate filing system of daily work via imaging system and other files as needed.
Other duties as assigned.

Requirements:
Basic Qualifications:
• High School Diploma, GED or Equivalent
• 3 years in a bank or financial institution with experience handling collateral, documenting loans, and/or working in loan operations, or comparable experience.
• Proficient working in Excel and Word.

Preferred Qualifications:
• Knowledge of various insurance policies with concentration on flood and hazard
• Working knowledge of the various types of loan documents associated with installment loans
• Understanding of the principles relating to the perfection of security interests in collateral and installment loan documentation
• Understanding of the bank's policies, procedures and practices that impact the installment loan operations function
• Knowledge of installment loan accounting systems
• Good organizational skills.
• Ability to effectively manage time.
• Independent and self motivated.
• Detail oriented.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Good interpersonal techniques.
• Ability to work under stress and meet deadlines.
• Ability to read and interpret a document.
