Location: South San Francisco, CA4 MonthsDuties Participate in corporate short-range and long-rangeplanning and forecasting such as the annual budget, periodic forecasts and month-end
financial reporting; analyze and evaluate data and trends from various sources,
prepare routine and special reports and perform projects related to duties assigned.
Job Duties to include:• Assist in developing and maintaining expense forecasts• Responsible for forecast submissions into corporate systems• Analyze historical headcount and expense trends• Create forecast summaries, highlight forecast drivers in PowerPointpresentations.• Perform ad hoc expense inquiries and investigationsSkills • Experience with month-end close financial reportingand explaining monthly spend variance to budget, consolidating reports in excel,• Experience with Financial PandL modeling- forecasting expenses,scenario analysis, etc.• Attention to detail. Must be comfortable handling/analyzing detaildata and high volume of data.• Desire to take on ownership/accountability for forecastresponsibilities and know when to seek guidance/support.• Proactive personality - Seeks to improve and streamline processes.• Ability to multitask.• Advance skills in MS Excel required (must have experience creatingcharts, graphs, pivot tables).• Basic PowerPoint skills required• SAP, Essbase, Cognos experience preferred.Keywords [Analysis, Analyst, Excel, Financial Analyst, FinancialModeling, Financial Planner, Forecasting, Manufacturing Controller, MS Excel, SAP]Education Minimum 3 years of accounting, financial analysis, andcorporate budgeting and forecasting experience at a mid to large corporation
