Description:
Learn AdministrationMaintain a comprehensive knowledge base of system features and limitations.Collect, review, and enter training and trainee data timely and accurately in gLearnFile and maintain training documentation for retrieval during site inspections.Report on any data maintained in gLearnCreate components, qualifications, and other content in gLearn in accordance with
department procedures.Assign and remove learning to gLearn development plans.Actively participate in project teams. Identify issues and gaps, and ensure they
are resolved. Training CoordinationPartner with Trainers and Program Managers to gather key information needed to coordinate
learning and development programs and events. Coordinate logistics for learning
events including schedule, room, food, materials, registration, confirmations, transportation,
materials reproduction and equipment arrangements. Communicate appropriate program
details to clients including training objectives, duration, date/time, chargeback
and pre-work information Deliver excellent customer service to support world class
learning programs. Work with Trainers, Instructional Designers, and Program Managers
to implement appropriate evaluation techniques for programs. Update training events
and course catalog information into the Learning Management System Support marketing
and communications activities to effectively promote learning events and opportunities.
Skills/CapabilitiesPositive, can-do attitude and desire to learn new things a must. Proficient with Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel. Knowledge of MS Project,
database applications such as ACCESS, Business Objects and custom reporting tools
such as Crystal Reports is desirable.Ability to work at a computer greater than 6 hours a day. Ability to stand at file cabinets to file documents greater than 2 hours a day.
Ability to lift, transport and deliver materials for logistic support Excellent organizational, written and verbal communication and prioritization skills.
Ability to think and work independently yet is an integral member of a team. Good judgment and problem solving skills. Ability to prioritize and organize high volume of work, ensuring attention to detail,
and accuracy within the required timeframe. High degree of customer service with
both internal and external customers. Diplomatic, yet assertive when administering
department policies. Demonstrated interpersonal skills and ability to build effective
working relationships throughout all levels of the organization. All Individual
Contributor-level competencies in Genentech core competencies -High School diploma
or GED required, Associate Degree preferred -5-7 years of related work experience,
project/program coordination experience preferred
