Summary:
To schedule qualified, business-to-business appointments for field agents for Lawson Family of Businesses.
Schedule quality appointments for new and veteran field agents in various districts and regions through outbound calling, from inactive lists, agent leads and leads that you find on the internet. Identify opportunities to acquire new business. Achieve appointment goals for assigned field agents, build a good working relationship with the field agent, track & report all sales results.
Responsibilities:
· Schedule qualified appointments for prospects; concentrate on acquisition of new customers and win back of inactive accounts.
· Obtain leads for appointment setting, including soliciting leads from field agents and obtaining leads via the internet.
· Use the consultative sales process to discover needs to recommend and close the appointment.
· Learn the appointment setting skills and product knowledge required to fulfill the customer’s needs.
· Educate prospects and accounts to ensure continued customer satisfaction.
· Warm up customers prior to field visit.
· Track and maintain all activity from number of agents, appointments, sales, dials, phone time, work days, notes, etc. in a timely, efficient and accurate manner.
· Must be able to multi-task and work in a fast-paced sales environment.
· Achieve goals for appointments, phone time and dials.
· Understand and execute all policies, procedures and reporting on a timely basis.
· Communication with field agents as necessary to drive close rate on appointments
· Other duties may be assigned.
Requirements
This position requires a minimum of an associate's degree and/or 1-4 years of experience in high volume outbound calling (70-100 calls a day) or in a related area. Must have the ability to learn several products and product lines for all divisions. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Project Sales Representative (PSR) works under general supervision, reporting to the Customer Service Supervisor. A certain degree of creativity and latitude is required. Must have working knowledge of Excel data entry and maintenance of spreadsheets and email programs.
