JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
As the new Manager of SEC Reporting, you will have a managerial role in our client's corporate accounting department. Reporting into a Corporate Controller, you will be responsible for the company's SEC financial reporting function including the 10Q, 10K, footnotes, etc. This position will require you to research and provide positioning papers on the latest pronouncements of various accounting standards and procedures that affect the company. To help you with the will have two staff level direct reports.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
? Certified Public Accountant (CPA) with a degree from well respected business school
? Seven or more years of work experience with at least 2 of those years being in a managerial role.
? SEC reporting experience with either a publicly traded company and/or at a ‘Big 4’ CPA firm.
? Ability to research accounting pronouncements and write positioning papers.
? Excellent human relations skills – both written and oral.
COMPENSATION PACKAGE:
Salary Range: $100K - $120K with a 15 % bonus and generous benefits.
