Our client a major healthcare provider that is experiencing tremendous growth is looking for a Revenue Cycle Trainer to take their team to the next level!
This position is responsible for training and assisting with the development of associates to optimize their personal performance in the areas of productivity, meeting and exceeding customer expectations, revenue production and fulfillment of core values. The incumbent will share the objective and measurable goals of the associates trained and coached and revenue production goals which exceed 25M per year.
• Assesses job functions upon which training will be performed including the impact of systems, regulatory, HIPPA and policy and procedure related changes.
• Develops and maintains training curriculum to assure best practice learning and performance of trainees.
• Delivers training and evaluation assessments to assure knowledge transfer and application.
• Conducts quality assurance (QA) assessments, calibrations and performance trending.
• Coaches associates based on QA and performance trending results.
• Delivers written updates to associates on selected work related changes and assures updates are added to curriculum.
• Engages in the selection of new associates.
• Serves as a department representative on committees and project teams.
• Performs operations job function in response to business continuity or service recovery requirements.
Requirements:
Skills / Knowledge Required:
• Verbal, stand-up and written communication skills
• Ability to develop and administer tools to evaluate knowledge transfer and trainee competency
• Ability to analyze work flows and work processes and convert this knowledge to meaningful curriculum
• Interpersonal relations
• Ability to understand the big picture and help others relate to how they impact the overall organization.
• Translate quality assurance assessments into effective coaching and behavioral change
• Analytical skills and ability to connect personal performance trends with specific areas of knowledge development
• Subject matter expertise on at least two revenue cycle positions on which training is delivered
• In depth knowledge on at least five operating systems including, but not limited to: Invision, Soarian, IDX, Sovera, E-pay, etc.
• Health care billing and payment practices and policies and procedures
• Understand of health care payers, insurance billing, financial assistance, explanation of benefits and revenue cycle operations
• Call center operations
• Technical and process writing
