As our Technical Support Engineer based out of our expanding Austin, TX location, your primary mission will be to respond to a variety of customer support queries in a professional, courteous and efficient manner by phone and email. This will require demonstrated ability to clearly communicate complex technical concepts with tact and diplomacy while dealing with sensitive customer issues, as well as a strong foundation in OS Deployment, including automated Windows deployment, and configuring Windows with Sysprep. Experience with Mac imaging is also desired. You will use your proven proficiency with Microsoft RIS, SQL, Active Directory, LDAP, Exchange, VMWARE ESX, PHP, and .NET to address a diverse range of technical issues including installation and diagnosing end user issues. You will also have an opportunity to contribute to testing and qualification of new or updated products. You’ll gain a wealth of knowledge on our award winning products due to your high level of interaction with our top notch team of design professionals. Specifically, you'll work with Product Engineering, QA & Marketing on design, reliability, and maintenance workarounds or bugs. Your previous hands-on experience in a support role with an IT service vendor as well as your demonstrated ability with unattended install of Windows, both scripted and imaged, will enable you to hit the ground running and make an immediate impact.
