Chore Summary
As a Community Relations Director, you will act as the family’s storyteller. As you join the family your role will be to tell the family’s story to variety of groups ranging from families, social workers, discharge planners, doctors, & financial planners. The passion and energy that is inside of you is crucial in being able to relate to these people giving them confidence that we can care for their loved ones. The health of any individual branch is partially determined by its fullness. The chores of marketing are designed with this purpose in mind. However, the bottom line is not just a number; it is combined with our ability to communicate the Bickford Family’s passion to care for our Friends.
REQUIREMENTS
One year certificate from college or technical school or three to six months related experience.
First Aid and CPR Certification
Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds. These physical demands must be met by a family member to successfully perform the essential functions of this job
Ability to adapt and complete other chores as assigned
PREFERRED QUALITIES
Ability to conduct sales training and customer service training
Successful demonstration of strong marketing and sales skills
Experience with out reach programs that consist of personal sales calls on community referral sources
Proven ability to build relationships within the community and deep understanding of the local market
Senior Living experience along with knowledge of state specific assisted living regulations
Promotes and maintains a favorable public image; participates in community affairs
Basic knowledge of computers including Microsoft Word and Excel.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, including a proficient clear, concise, and compelling oral and written communication
Completes up to date competitive analysis on all competition in the area.
Ensures appropriate new resident welcome procedures.
