Job Description: The Professional Services (PSO) Migration Consultant is responsible for the successful implementation of Quest Software products at customer sites. This position is assigned to the more complex implementation engagements, requiring the advanced skill set and experience gained from numerous directory and e-mail migration implementations. The Consultant is responsible for leading planning, analysis and design migration sessions, interfacing with client project management, and designing customer solutions while working closely with our customers. Requirements: - 5+ years experience managing complex software implementation projects as a Project or Program Manager in a software company or a consulting practice; specific experience in multi-phase implementation of messaging and Windows management technology. - Excellent customer relationship management skills; extensive experience with direct customer contact. - Excellent written and verbal communication skills and presentation skills. - Strong leadership qualities and critical thinking in bringing successful resolution to complex issues and challenges. - Strong organizational and project management skills, with demonstrated execution success. Excellence in documentation proficiency is a must. - Demonstrated proficiency in project management methodologies and disciplines, including Project Definition, Planning, Execution, and Control phases of customer engagements; PMP certification a strong plus. - Strong management experience directing teams of architects, consultants both in-house and subcontractors, and indirect management of off-shore application development projects. - Experience in process development; experience working with professional services / project-centric organizations. - Solid understanding of software project life cycles and methodologies and advanced knowledge of Microsoft Active Directory, Exchange 2007 - Ability to quickly grasp new technologies, concepts and processes - Ability to produce and maintain detailed Microsoft project plans Education: Bachelor’s or Masters in Computer Science, Engineering, or IT
-Must be able to obtain a DOD Top Secret Clearance
