Quality Assurance and Quality Engineer Opportunities – Medical / Plastic Injection Molding

Our client is a total plastics contract manufacturer and product design company. They specialize in manufacturing complex, high-precision injection molded components and assemblies. They embraced a Total Quality Management approach to business with a strong focus on Technology, Teamwork and Solutions.
Our client’s team is a best-in-class blend of mold and engineering expertise, skilled mold making, a thorough knowledge of engineering thermoplastics processing, and a high-level service and quality awareness. They are currently seeking two new members for their Quality team to ensure they give each client the best the industry has to offer.
Quality Assurance Supervisor
Key Duties:
+ Leads QA Inspectors: prepares work schedules, assigns work, and oversees the work production. + Coordinates RMA and CAPA systems. + Knowledge of statistical process control, ISO9001/ ISO13485 highly desired.
Quality Engineer
Key Duties:
+ Work with customers to ensure advanced quality plans including critical dimensions, control plans, process flow diagrams, SPC plans, etc. + Manage inspection process (metrology) for assigned projects. + Perform scientific validations including DOE’s and statistical analysis. + Applies ISO and lean mfg principles.
The successful candidates must have:
+ Minimum of 3 years related experience in a medical manufacturing environment. + Minimum of 1 year recent experience in plastic injection molding. + BS/BA desired. + Must be able to commute 30+ miles between facilities as needed.
