JOB INFORMATION
As a member of the Capital Markets Operations - Electronic Transfer Services team, operating in multiple locations, the senior analyst position, will be directly accountable for the daily account monitoring, execution of funds/ securities transfers and depository reconciliations of firm wide activity. Customers include internal Fannie Mae business units, trading desks, industry utilities, commercial banks, dealers and brokers. The position requires a strong Federal Reserve wire operations background, strong technical and analytical skills, the ability to: focus on details, evaluate risk, grasp issues quickly and make decisions that involve high transaction counts and dollar volumes
KEY JOB FUNCTIONS Perform accurate and timely settlement execution of funds and securities movements, account monitoring, depository reconciliations and associated reporting for the corporation.
Be an advocate for change, identifying and presenting opportunities for business process change and/or technical improvements for wire transfer functionality.
Lead/support technical systems initiatives inclusive of scope definition, business requirements definition, user acceptance planning and test execution
Lead representative responding to queries from internal and external customers, regulators and auditors (formally & informally)
Development, maintain, monitoring and enforcement of policies, procedures and SOXs controls.
Responsible for leading and driving efforts/projects with cross-functional teams in multiple locations focused on transaction oversight, operational risk compliance and reconciliation review.
