ACTIVE PATHOLOGIST

Requirements include:
- Doctor of medicine or doctor of osteopathy degree from an accredited U.S. school of medicine or osteopathy; foreign graduates may apply if they have a permanent certificate from the Educational Council of Foreign Medical Graduates
- Current license to practice medicine in the United States, District of Columbia or Puerto Rico
- Eligibility for board certification
- Completion of at least one year of an approved Graduate Medical Education (GME) internship
- Completion of a training program in pathology
- Between 21 and 42 years of age (may request a waiver)
- U.S. citizenship


RESERVE PATHOLOGIST

Enrich your career by serving your country as a pathologist and Officer on the U.S. Army Reserve Health Care Team. You'll work in our advanced laboratories, surrounded by professionals who share your commitment to supporting our nation. By practicing in your community and serving when needed, you'll develop skills that will help your career in ways you can only imagine.

- Health Professional Special Pay of $75,000 for eligible specialties, paid in three yearly increments of $25,000
- Healthcare Professionals Loan Repayment (HPLR) of up to $50,000 over three years; may be applied toward qualified medical school loans
