ACTIVE NUCLEAR MEDICINE SCIENTIST

When you become a nuclear medicine scientist and Officer on the U.S. Army Health Care Team, your work could lead to scientific discoveries that improve our Soldiers' health and the environments in which they work.

Requirements include:
- Master's degree in radiobiology, radiochemistry, nuclear physics, health physics, radiological physics or related field from an accredited program acceptable to the Surgeon General
- At least one year of clinical laboratory experience in a DOD health care facility, university or other facility
- Certification by either the American Society of Clinical Pathology (ASCP) or the National Certification Agency for Medical Laboratory Personnel (NCAMLP)
- Between 21 and 42 years of age (may request a waiver)
- U.S. citizenship


RESERVE NUCLEAR MEDICINE SCIENTIST

You can conduct important nuclear medicine research while enhancing your career. When you serve your country as a nuclear medicine scientist and Officer on the U.S. Army Reserve Health Care Team, you'll work in your community and serve when needed.
