TRANSFER PRICING - TAX MANAGER/CONSULTANT
POSITION SUMMARY

Our multilateral approach helps our clients comply with all the applicable regulations and enables them to employ transfer pricing as a strategic tax-planning tool. We work closely with clients to select and establish well-supported, effective transfer pricing methods that are built to withstand challenges. And we help ensure that our clients' pricing documentation conforms to the complex procedural rules of foreign countries. Our team consists of international tax specialists, economists, and financial analysts. They have experience analyzing both inbound and outbound intercompany transactions and possess the resources to deliver effective transfer pricing solutions.
The Transfer Pricing Manager is responsible for the delivery of a full range of tax and transfer pricing services for multiple clients in a wide variety of industries. Responsibilities include interacting closely with clients to provide innovative tax and transfer pricing planning and consulting and working closely with partners and staff on client management, practice development, and business development activities. The Transfer Pricing Manager is responsible for an assigned group of clients.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
-Adhere to the highest degree of professional standards and strict client confidentiality.
-Manage, direct, and monitor multiple client services teams on client engagements; plan, execute, direct, and complete tax and transfer pricing projects in a wide variety of industries; provide innovative tax and transfer pricing planning, consulting, and compliance expertise to clients; and manage to budget.
-Develop a project vision and set challenging personal and client service team goals.
-Manage, develop, train, and mentor staff on tax and transfer pricing projects and assess performance for engagement and year-end reviews.
-Work with tax partners and transfer pricing specialists to analyze and resolve international tax and finance issues and consult with clients on a wise range of tax and transfer pricing issues.
-Formulate and deliver innovative tax planning and tax savings strategies.
-Incorporate financial information into a proprietary financial model and conducting economic, financial, and accounting analyses.
-Prepare valuation reports for closely held or publicly traded companies.
-Review and analyze GAAP financial statements.
-Research publicly traded companies.
-Research and consult on various tax matters.
-Maintain active communication with clients to manage expectations, ensure satisfaction, make sure deadlines are met, and lead change efforts effectively.
-Consult, work with, and service client to make recommendations on business and process improvement and serve as a business advisor to client.
-Work closely with partners, managers, and staff to integrate practice development skills into a team approach to client service and new business development.
-Team with partners and senior managers on proposals and business development calls.
-Maintain strong client relations and cross-sell services within the assigned group of clients.
-Recruit and retain senior associates and associates.
-Coach senior associates and associates in developing and achieving goals and objectives for performance and professional development.
-Attend professional development and training sessions on a regular basis.
-Perform other job-related duties as necessary.
QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS
-Bachelor's degree in Economics, Accounting, Finance, Mathematics, Statistics or related field with a Master's in Taxation or PhD. preferred.
-Five to seven years of progressive tax and transfer pricing experience in public accounting, consulting, or academia.
-Excellent analytical, technical, and tax accounting/technology skills with proficiency in US GAAP.
-Strong experience in staff and tax and transfer pricing management in an integrated client service team.
-Ability to manage and develop staff in a highly interactive team environment.
-Practice development experience is preferred.
-Exceptional client service and communication skills with a demonstrated ability to develop and maintain outstanding client relationships.
-Ability to manage multiple engagements and competing priorities in a rapidly growing, fast-paced, interactive, results-based team environment.
-Strong leadership, business development, recruiting, training, coaching, and mentoring skills, coupled with excellent written, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
-Computer expertise including knowledge of tax software and technology.
-Ability to work additional hours as needed and travel to various client sites.
