For more information, please visit: www.3m.com/skinhealth The position of Pilot Plant Technician located in Maplewood, Minnesota will be responsible for but not limited to the following specific duties: Work closely with engineers to assist in research and development of new products and processes for potential patents
Prepare, maintain, modify and operate equipment for new processes being evaluated for feasibility, including mechanical setups that vary with each process
Ensure all regulatory and safety requirements are met
Manufacture products for evaluations, consumer preference tests and test market requirements.
Document results of operations and inspections. Evaluate the results obtained and make recommendations for scale-up or transfer.
Perform in-process quality control checks. Review progress on experimental equipment and processes with technical personnel and make recommendations as appropriate
