Shipping silicon and software products for various discrete and multi-comm wireless technologies including WiFi and WiMAX for several mobile and ultra-mobile platforms.
Responsibilities include:
Designing, developing, testing, documenting and delivering software solution stacks on Linux* OS
Develop Linux kernel modules in wireless networking domain
Yield high performing, product quality software that is ready to ship to large OEMs and ODMs
Balance across product objectives and Open Source will be critical
Debugging complex system issues across the stack including kernel, drivers, firmware as well as user-space modules
Required Skills:
Software development, debugging and testing skills in C
Solid Linux* driver development experience for networking product
802.11 Linux stack
Linux kernel and driver development with focus on networking components
Interface Linux* distribution
OEM/ODMs integration and issue resolution
Development models corporate teams as well as open source
Strong written and verbal communications
Interacting with the open source community
Network protocols TCP, IPv4/IPv6, DNS, DHCP
Kernel level debugging
