Description:
Join a leading provider of high-value engineering and information technology outsourcing solutions and professional staffing. CDI is looking for a qualified Account Manager to join our Talent Management team.
 
With a desire to excel, the qualified professional will primarily be responsible for:
Building and maintaining business relationships and seeking out new business opportunities within the assigned account.
Secondary emphasis on presenting CDI’s various lines of business and providing creative solutions to client management.
Partnering with the Fulfillment Team and Operations Team to help clients meet their short and long-term business objectives, while meeting CDI’s strategic business goals.
Key Responsibilities:
Identify new business opportunities and propose solutions to close on new business within assigned account.
Meet or exceed revenue and direct margin goals and metrics.
Develop customer relationships with key decision makers.
Executes customer solutions strategy leveraging all lines of business and program offerings.
Complete account plans, forecasts and needs assessments.
Determine engagement methodology and approach with assigned customer.
Utilize Consultative Selling techniques (Goals, Problems and Needs).
Exhibit collaborative effort with all program personnel and external suppliers.
Contribute to the proposal and renewal process (RFQ, RFI, RFP’s) and get all required approvals (pricing, CMO, etc).
Responsible for and/or collaborates on the following with Fulfillment Manager: order validation, setting customer expectations, candidate presentation, interview coordination, offer presentation, and on-boarding processes.
Responsible for maintaining and updating employee and customer information in required databases.
Contributes to continual improvement initiatives.
Solicits feedback from the customer on overall service delivery, end-user satisfaction and relationships.
Identify, research, and prioritize tasks and issues that occur during the regular course of business at assigned account.
Depending on volume and demand may be required to fulfill ASR roles and responsibilities such as: billable employee maintenance, billable employee on boarding, and migrations.

Minimum Requirements:
Four year degree or equivalent years of combined education and experience.
Minimum of three years experience in the staffing or professional services industry with customer service/relationship management and sales experience in an engineering environment.
Proven ability to focus on customer and employee satisfaction.
Demonstrated understanding of sales and recruiting processes.
Demonstrated ability to get work done through others who are not direct reports.
Demonstrated ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and work in a fast-paced environment.
Demonstrated ability to use personal computers. 
Preferences:
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, including developed presentation skills.
Knowledge of basic engineering terminology and typical roles in these environments.
Experience with large account management / sales.
