Senior Software Engineer
My client creates educational software that accelerates learning by improving the processing efficiency of the brain. Their products based on more than 30 years of neuroscience and cognitive research.
Recently, they launched a new SaaS driven model with a family of interactive, online learning programs that help children increase their brain power through fun and engaging exercises. You will be part of a team rebuilding out a consumer facing ecommerce engine.
Essential Functions for the Java Engineer Position:
5+ Experience in Java
In the last 2 years must have:
Distributed Architecture Experience
Web based Deployment Experience
Agile, TDD
Must have experience with the following technologies:
JUnit
Refactor
Hibernate
JSP
MVC
or Pattern oriented development
Ant
XML
SOAP - WebServices
Education:
Engineering/ CS/ Mathematics majors in that order of preference
Pluses:
Cloud Deployment (a plus)
Flash/Flex
