QUALIFICATIONS:
- Minimum 1 year of sales or service experience
- Knowledge on bank products and various lines of business in order to refer correctly.
- Cash handling experience.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Flexible availability / including Saturdays

EDUCATION:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.

Internal applicants must be actively working in their current job and location for at least six months (non-exempt) or twelve months (exempt) and must be meeting all current goals outlined in his/her performance objectives.

TELLER / FINANCIAL SERVICE SPECIALIST ROLE
Full service paying, receiving, and drawer reconciliation responsibilities. Profile customers to identify sales opportunities to refer to financial sales associates. Accept DDA Deposits, cash checks, accept savings deposits and withdrawals accept installment loan and charge card payments. Balance daily. Refer customers to the direct sales staff.
Perform platform duties as necessary.

REQUIREMENTS:
- Strong customer service and sales skills required. Previous teller experience and/or cash handling background required.
- Ability to process customer transactions correctly and efficiently. Sales oriented with an aptitude for numbers.
- Ability to recognize customer needs. Ability to contact customers through various methods for sales and service opportunities.
- A minimum of 1 year customer service, cash handling experience and sales experience.
- Must project a professional image, possess excellent communication skills and be detail oriented.

REPRESENTATIVE ACTIVITIES:
- Receive money from customers, disburse money to customers and record the transactions in accordance with well-defined policies and procedures. Process deposit and lending transactions at teller window and drive-thru
- Responsible for cash funds, balancing daily transactions and assisting individuals accounts
- Accurately conduct all credit and debit transactions to include receiving checking and savings deposits/withdrawals, checking endorsements, and accepting checks for cashing
- Verify cash drawer, balance and prepare daily work using forms in accordance with standard procedures.
- Issue travelers checks, money orders, and official bank checks.
- Assure teller area is secure and well maintained at all times.
- Keep proper cash supply on hand and prepare daily proof record while maintaining an acceptable difference record.
- Deliver excellent customer service to all bank customers.
- Is required to refer customers through various means (in person, phone, events, etc.) to other bank staff for product sales or problem resolution.
- May process night deposits and ATM
- As FSS, must achieve applicable sales goals. Sell appropriate bank products or services or refer to appropriate line of business.
- Identify and maximize cross-sales opportunities through customer profiling.
- Perform basic service transactions that take minimal time such as address changes, check orders, giving account balances, performing stop payments and answering phones.
