Assignment Capsule
As a Clinical Innovations Metrician you will: perform data analysis, develop algorithms, models and computational design to implement, document and present technical information to a broad audience. You will then apply each of these tools to real client data, discussing the results of your modeling solutions with other areas of the business.
Perform health economic analyses including but not limited to the following topics:
Return on investment (ROI) analyses
Claims cost and utilization drill-down analyses
Statistical analyses
Cost impact analyses
Root cause analysis
Trend analysis
Ad-hoc analyses and reporting
Partner with internal groups to ensure consistent methodology across departments
Identify and recommend new data sources that will maximize analytic output and conclusions
Develop process for automatic reporting of key cost and utilization measurements
Present findings and recommendations to senior management verbally, graphically and/or in writing

Role Essentials
Graduate Degree in Math, Engineering or a related field
Prior statistical experience
Experience using Structured Query Language, SAS and/or SPSS
Comprehensive knowledge of all Microsoft Office applications
Role Desirables
Graduate Degree in Applied Sciences or Statistics
Experience with large data sets and/or the analysis of patient-level healthcare
Knowledge of Oracle
Reporting Relationships
You will report to a Manager or Director. This area is under the leadership of the SVP and Chief Financial Officer.
