Description:
Performs Teller functions such as accepting DDA deposits, cashing checks, accepting savings deposits and withdrawals and accepting installment loan and charge card payments. Balance daily. Provide courteous and professional service to customers. Complete transactions according to established guidelines; complexity of transactions performed varies by the Teller level. Identifies sales referral opportunities and makes appropriate referral. Participates in sales campaigns as identified, and makes regular customer service calls to clients. May also complete additional account servicing functions.

Position primarily responsible for achievement of branch customer service goals. Must have computer proficiency, a sales orientation with an aptitude for numbers, and the ability to recognize customer needs.

Performs basic teller functions, follows established procedures and meets service quality goals. Entry-level position; typically 6 – 12 months of previous customer service, sales and/or cash handling experience, telephone consulting/service skills, and high school education or equivalent.
