Job Description Sr Business/Systems Analyst Responsibilities: The primary responsibility of the position is working with business line, systems developers and testing teams to collect and analyze the application requirements and evaluate and define solutions. The candidate must be able to transform business requirements into comprehensive technical documents to be used by the development and QA test teams to create and certify the software. Other activities include facilitation of the collaboration among these groups to ensure that test cases and business rules align properly within the agreed scope of the project. The analyst must be able to understand and interpret the requirements and identify gaps or inconsistencies or missing details in requirements as well as between the test cases and use cases. Requirements: The qualified candidate should have a minimum of five years experience in general business/systems analysis. Must have experience with creating use-cases and familiarity with the Agile development process. Should be able to work effectively at all levels of an organization; must have strong verbal and written communication skills as well excellent technical writing skills. Must have excellent interpersonal, facilitation, negotiation and leadership skills; and must have strong skills in analysis, problem-solving, project management, and time management. Must be able to work independently, be resourceful, take initiative and problem-solve with minimal daily guidance. Must be proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Visio and Power Point. Knowledge of international trade service products and the HP Quality Center requirements suite is highly desirable.
