Description:
Provide leadership and direction on new projects and initiatives relating to information security. Assists in planning, organizing and controlling security administration activities. Develop, document and maintain operation processes and procedures to conform with Enterprise Security Control Standards.   The Information Security Specialist is an individual contributor who will assist Information Security Senior Management and the Business Information Security Officer (BISO) in the day to day operations of the Individual Life Insurance (ILI) Information Security Office. The Information Security specialist will ensure that Enterprise Policies are enforced at the business level. This includes, but may not be limited to: Partnering with the business to ensure that Information Security Control Standards are being adhered to and addressing any non compliance issues
Monitoring and initiating appropriate actions to ensure that the recertification process for end user access to ILI resources is adequately completed
Providing education and awareness to the ILI community regarding Information Security practices
Documenting relevant standard operating procedures to ensure that sufficient documentation exists for Information Security Processes
Participating in Information Security projects as needed
The successful candidate should have the ability to look at the big picture and lead a cross functional team across Prudential business divisions to drive consistency and quality. Consideration must be given for the differences in the businesses and their approach to information security.   Job may be also be located in NJ (Woodbridge), FL (Jacksonville), PA (Ft Washington) or MN
