Description:
Requirements:
Candidate shall have a knowledge of military tactical truck major subsystems, failure modes, effects, and criticality analysis (FMECA) processes and procedures, and  Army maintenance operations, supporting doctrine and force structures.  Candidates must be familiar with tactical vehicle prognostic and diagnostic equipment and procedures.  Candidate knowledge should encompass research and development through equipment fielding and operational usage.  Candidate must understand and be conversant with vehicle technical manuals, IETMs, and other associated Army technical bulletins and documents.  Candidates must have suitable background to allow for access to Army component Supply, Demand and Logistics Information data repositories, and the ability to research and identify critical, high frequency demand and high cost components for follow on investigation.  Candidates must have familiarity with  Lean Six Sigma tools, processes and applications.  A history of developing FMECA studies and documentation would be a plus.
Duties:
Research - Conduct database queries of Army Supply, Demand and Logistics Information databases and other pertinent data sources and reports, and analyze data for prioritization and detailed investigation.
Gather and Analyze Data - Analyze supply and demand data trends, gather pertinent information on demand distributions, equipment densities and utilization rates, and appropriate information from equipment technical manuals, doctrinal publications, and other related documents.  Analyze/review commercial item descriptions, military specifications/standards, purchase descriptions, engineering changes, test documentation (plans and reports), test indicator reports, failed item analysis reports, and corrective action plans. 
Program Support -   Provide support to the Team in coordination with Customer system and equipment managers, engineers, and individual component managers in discussing conducted analysis and recommendations.  Support development and preparation of  information papers, notifications, and related documents as required to support the project and systems/equipment issues and required actions.
