SR. SOFTWARE ENGINEER
Our client is seeking a highly talented, creative and motivated software developer to contribute to our core product offerings, including our ad serving systems and analytical products and tools. RESPONSIBILITIES
l Work with the Product Management and Engineering teams to design, code, test and document new features
l Understand system architecture with an eye to scalability and efficiency
l Create and maintain transaction and database-oriented applications
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
l Minimum BS with 5+ year coding experience
l 2+ years of Java (experience with JUnit a plus)
l 2+ year of MySQL
l Experience with Flex a Plus
l Strong knowledge of Linux or Unix OS
l Excellent knowledge of web applications and application servers, database design, web services, and XML technologies
l Experience with high volume, distributed transactional systems
l Detail-oriented with good written and verbal communication skills
l Experience with Open Source tools a plus
l Familiarity with software development and testing best practices
l Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to think logically
l Able to work effectively in small (often ad-hoc) teams
l Able to manage one's own time efficiently
l Artificial Intelligence, Statistics or Mathematics background a plus
