Individual will be responsible for the preparation and review of all aspects of the year end and interim financial statements (including footnotes) for hedge fund clients throughout the US and Europe. This position will be supervising 2-3 staff level accountants in all day to day reporting functions related to the interim and year end audited financial statements. In addition, responsibilities include various monthly performance reports, as well as client requested reports for counterparties, investors, traders. Position interacts closely with portfolio accounting department as well as the clients' auditors. This individual will be responsible for training and managing staff accountants in a fast growing environment. We are seeking a person who is detail oriented, well organized, efficient, and able to multi-task in a fast-paced evolving environment. This position requires versatility in order to successfully bring on new clients from around the globe throughout the year.
