The Manager, Financial Reporting position is within the Controllers organization with responsibility for financial reporting. The incumbent will report to the Director within Corporate Accounting and have significant interaction with the Vice President of GAAP Accounting and SEC Reporting.
The responsibilities of the position will include:
• Responsibility for various aspects of the consolidation and reporting of company results.
• Responsibility for preparation of various aspects of the consolidated financial statements as well as components of the Company's SEC filings.
• Assists with the development of accounting policy and procedures.
• Oversee the efficient operation and cost-effectiveness of operating procedures, systems and programs.
• Provide guidance and leadership to staff accountants and analysts.
• Analyze on-going financial results and prepare quarterly analysis package for management and reports for senior officers.
• Research accounting issues and assist in the implementation of new accounting guidance;
• Preparation of key analytics and management exhibits.
• Prepare general ledger reconciliations and roll forwards for various accounts
• Support Sarbanes-Oxley compliance initiatives related to the reporting process
• Respond to requests from internal and external auditors and regulators
