Description:
As a Oracle Database Administrator, you will work in a team environment to provide knowledge of relational databases, i.e., Oracle, and logical/physical design support including backup/recovery. You will be responsible for upgrades, performance monitoring, installations, managing replication via Goldengate and Streams, diagnosing system problems, disaster recovery testing and maintaining user accessibility. In addition, you will act as a technical resource for IT applications in specific business group. Install Oracle on new AIX, SunOS and Linux servers, upgrade Oracle on existing servers; implement database schemas; resolve database performance issues, database capacity issues, replication and other distributed data issues.  Provide production support to assigned applications and resolve production issues.
 
∙ Need minimum of 5 years experience in Oracle with a focus on 11g
 
∙ 2+ years hand on experience with Golden Gate replication
 
∙ 2+ years experience configuring and tuning RAC
 
∙ 2+ years experience configuring and tuning Oracle ASM
 
∙ SQL Server experience a plus  
 
∙ Experience in logical and physical database design
 
∙ Minimum of Five years of experience with a Relational Database
 
∙ Experience in performance monitoring and tuning
 
∙ Strong experience in developing and maintaining relational databases including backup/recovery procedures is required
