Description:
We are looking for a Windows Developer to join the Client Development team. The ideal candidate will be working with a team of Developers responsible for building the framework and components for high performance trading systems.
Key Skills and Responsibilities:
• Core Windows Programming and GUI development experience required, including use of 3rd party components i.e. grid libraries
• Deep understanding of the .NET platform and strong skillset with the .NET framework BCL.
• Experience with SDLC processes including SCM is a must
• Will work on building visual and non visual components to support high performance trading applications.
Job Requirements:
• 7+ yrs C#, .NET, VB6 experience is required
• SQL knowledge is also required
• Exposure to new technologies such as WCF and .Net 4.0 is preferred
• Exceptional Understanding of COM/DCOM technologies, Win32 API Programming and multithreaded programming
• Client/server development experience in distributed, scalable architecture.
• Hands-on experience with version control tools and automated build servers
• Strong knowledge of OO programming techniques, Modular design, GUI design for Rich-Client Applications
• Strong written, verbal and interpersonal communications skills
• Ability and desire to work in a fast paced, ever-changing environment
• Strong Analytical and problem solving skills
• Demonstrated sense of urgency and ability to self-manage projects
• Prior experience in building front-end trading applications is preferred but not required.
