Individuals joining our group will contribute to the development of a completely unique 3D medical imaging system that will transform an industry. 3M's patented technology was developed over four years by a team of engineers at MIT and is led by experienced entrepreneurs and imaging experts.
Responsibilities: Investigate the unique features of Lava COS imaging system to satisfy unique constraints related to intraoral 3D imaging. Will support algorithm development, and provide production ready implementation of algorithms created in the R&D team. Will engage in research related to 2D/3D registration and robust camera motion recovery. Will provide guidance and train Software Engineers.
