We focus on providing staffing and consultative solutions for the IT function, and through Adecco, we can also offer solutions for the functions of engineering, finance and accounting, legal, clinical, administrative, and sales and marketing.
We are currently looking for a SYBASE DBA with Sybase 15 replication server experience.
5-7 years database administration experience required
A degree from a four-year college preferred
Expert knowledge of Sybase Administration required.
Experience with Sybase 15 (Replication Server) is required.
Strong working knowledge of Sybase SQL, UNIX and Linux
Knowledge of PHP preffered
Must be very proficient in writing store procedures
Excellent analytical skills required.
Good organization and follow up skills required.
Excellent communication/interpersonal skills required.
Advanced systems design and strategic skills preferred.
Production support experience required.
Scripting Experience.
Should have exceptional SQL skills - specifically must be proficient with stored procedures
Must have the ability to write SQL scripts to query the DB
Must perform database calls
Additional job duties will include:
Provide support to application users
Provide user support to company personnel
Develop user/management reports
Provide system and database administration duties as required

We are currently looking for a Sybase DBA. This is a contract to hire opportunity.Please note that this position will be physically located in Pacheco, CA and our client is only interested in local candidates to the San Francisco Bay Area.
