If so, read on!We have a unique opportunity for a Director of our Association who has wine industry experience.What you'll be doing:- Develop and implement marketing plans, build and deliver educational programs, and strengthen community relationships for the Wine Growers Association- Discuss vineyard practices regarding sustainable growth, pesticide management and other financial and ecological issues that promote positive interaction locally- Be able to carry those discussions to the state, national and international level representing our growing association in a positive manner- Expand grapegrower and vineyard participation through education, workshops, community events, GRANTS, WEB marketing and newsletters What you need for this position:- B.S. - Viticulture, Ecology, Pest management or related field - 3+ years working with wine grape growers, vineyards, or wine grower associations- Excellent communication skills and experience preparing and delivering speeches- Computer skills including PowerPoint, Database software, WORD, ExcelWhat's in it for you:- Excellent opportunity to engage with local vineyards, wine grape growers, community organizations and promote the organization- Work with local association, researchers, and visitor center developing long-term goals- Compensation and benefits - DD-WINE-CA - , , , , , CyberCoders CyberScientific
