Outside Sales Representative - Commercial Printing

The Opportunity
Over the last six months, we have expanded our capabilities and overall breadth to be in position for new business opportunities both locally and nationally. New ownership, new executive management, new processes and equipment mean a great opportunity for an experienced Sales Representative.
Responsibilities
The position will have accountabilities for maintaining and expanding annual profitable sales by developing new accounts and building on existing relationships. We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales Representative with a strong track record of meeting and exceeding goals. The candidate must have experience in the printing industry.
• Prospecting for new accounts by planning and organizing daily work schedule to call on existing or potential sales outlets
• Monitors competition by gathering current marketplace information on pricing, products, new products, delivery schedules, merchandising techniques, etc.
• Recommends changes in products, service, and policy to clients and company by evaluating results and competitive developments
• Identify and problem solve obstacles by investigating; developing solutions; preparing reports; and making recommendations
• Open to continuous improvement of sales process through feedback and training
• Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies
• Deliver on commitments to clients and to the underlining business objectives
• Utilize time management skills to sustain drive to reach sales goals and forecasts
• Professional persistence and assertiveness with all customer interactions to get meetings with decision makers
Requirements
Candidate will have 2-3 plus years of sales experience in printing industry and a four year degree in Sales/Marketing or other related field.
