Description:
Responsibilities include:
* Managing the instructors, educational activities of the department, and all classes both day and evening.
* Adherence to applicable accreditation commission standards or agency regulations and the school Policy and Procedure department’s curricula.
* Monitor student progress, conduct student orientations and advise students throughout the program.
* Coordinate with the Graduate Services Director all information pertaining to the externship placement of students, job earnings, potential candidates and any placement updates.
* Assist with on-going review and development of curricula in the department and make suggestions per policy.
Minimum Qualifications: -
* Minimum of a Master's degree required.
* Minimum of 3 years experience as a Dental Hygienist or Dentist.
* Management experience required.
* Previous teaching experience preferred.
* Must have excellent management and communication skills, and the knowledge and ability to judge instructors’ competence.
* Requires strong attention to details and a positive professional attitude.
