Leveraging a 120-year lending history, Prudential Mortgage Capital Company provides commercial and multifamily borrowers with access to a broad range of real estate finance alternatives including fixed-rate, floating-rate and interim/bridge loans; Fannie Mae (DUS), Freddie Mac Targeted Affordable and FHA lending; and mezzanine and affordable housing finance. The New York/New Jersey office of Prudential Mortgage Capital Company is actively seeking a Director level originator to join the Affordable Housing Finance team. PMCC's origination teams are directly responsible for sourcing and originating commercial mortgage investments for various capital sources. The Affordable Housing Finance team works hand-in-hand with Prudential Mortgage Capital Company's national network of loan originators, providing borrowers with in-depth experience in affordable financing combined with geographic market expertise. This position will be responsible for sourcing and securing new lending opportunities and originating high quality debt investments secured by multifamily assets. Working both directly with borrowers and through specialized intermediaries, the Director will serve as the single point of contact for our client's comprehensive affordable products. Responsibilities: Acting as the central point of contact for borrowers, intermediaries, internal team members and third party vendors, the Director will oversee and coordinate the efficiency and integrity of the transactions process including underwriting, due diligence, closing and servicing, in support of meeting aggressive production objectives for the region.
Managing all aspects of loan origination process, including presentations to senior management, debt structuring, pricing strategy, transaction negotiation and closing, and due diligence review.
Develop and cultivate high quality relationships with new prospects, while maintaining and building enduring relationships with existing institutional clients.
