Our client is seeking an experienced and savvy Senior Director of HR and Talent Management This position is based in TN. This position will require 25% domestic travel. JOB DESCRIPTIONThe Senior Director of HR and Talent Management will report directly to the Chief People Officer and other business partners with senior management to build our client’s bench of talent by providing strategic leadership and flawless execution in training, organizational design and the development of organizational and employee competencies of new and existing platforms designed to achieve our client’s long-term organizational goals.DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES• Develop and implement workforce planning initiatives that allow the organization to anticipate and address changes to workforce availability and requirements.• Provide leadership and counsel to department leaders for the development of training programs that will support the organizational strategy.• Facilitate change management methodologies, assess training and development needs, and ensure the implementation of improved processes.• Partner with field HR to ensure the efficient operation of field training centers.• Provide leadership on the development of company-wide programs including curriculum, internships, succession planning and performance management.• Determine future avenues of administering learning and development programs, such as eLearning and other computer-based systems.• Enhance individual and team performance by creating a climate of continuous learning in support of the organization’s strategic initiatives.• Maintain current knowledge on advances in the learning and development field, as well as, changes in the legal environment that will impact the department’s methods and practices.BEST INDUSTRY – RetailBEST DEPARTMENT – Human Resources

Requirements:
Bachelors Degree in HR, Education, Business Administration or a related field is required. Advanced Degree is a very strong plus.10 years in Human Resources disciplines outside Learning and Development is required.5 years in Training and Organizational Development is required.Experience managing a team of direct reports is required.Superior consultative skills are required.Proven track record of utilizing various testing and measurement tools to validate and evaluate the effectiveness of training and testing programs is essential in this role.Excellent written and oral communication/preseentation skills to provide advice and counsel to a wide range of employees is required.COMPENSATION140K – 175K plus bonus
