Compensation: $45 - 55/ Hourly

Role: Oracle Developer

Role Description: The Oracle Developer would need to have at least 9 + years of experience. This Candidate will be working closely with a group of highly professional individuals to implement initiatives and projects.

Responsibilities:

- Assess feasibility and ramifications of new business requirements.
- Design appropriate solutions and recommend alternative approaches when necessary.
- Get aligned with specific portfolio teams and maintains close working relationships with business partners.
- Provide necessary support of the system data, respond quickly to critical requests, and participate in the processes troubleshooting/ investigations.
- Must have good business acumen, broad knowledge of technologies and tools, and be a Subject Matter Expert in infrastructure system areas.
- Collaborate with a team of Technical Project Managers, Subject Matter Experts, vendors, business etc to effectively deliver projects/initiatives.

Minimum Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree required with emphasis in computer sciences or engineering discipline.
- At least 8+ years of experience as Oracle DBA with 5+ years of experience in Oracle Database design and application development.
- Good Object-Oriented Analysis and Design skills.
- Technical mastery of a wide assortment of Oracle Database technologies: XML, JDBC, SQL, PL/SQL, data replication, Advance Security, and Database modeling/ design.
- Experience in designing and building systems for high traffic and transaction volumes.
- Experience with RAC and ASM technologies.
- Hands-on experience with the above technologies.
- Knowledge of Queuing Systems (MQ).
- Able to script in Java, Perl, or Python.
- Able to work under minimal supervision, receiving general guidance from more seasoned architects or managers.
- Excellent problem resolution and data analysis skills.
- Must be able to simultaneously work on multiple project assignments and support a number of customers/internal clients.
- Strong written and verbal communications skills.
- Must be open to flexible work schedule to remain in-step with project and organizational needs as well as to provide triage support for a 7x24x365 environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Experience with Epic healthcare applications or with other clinical/pharmaceutical applications and workflows are huge pluses.
- Consulting experience is also a plus.
- 'Must Have' Oracle experience (10+years) preferably with rel. 10 or 11 as well as AIX or Linux experience.
- RAC and DataGuard is highly desired (Will be implementing several solutions using those technologies).
- Must Have: ETL data extracts Database Administration, Data Systems Architecture, and SQL experience as well as significant experience setting up Data Marts and Data Warehouses (quantify in resume).

Required Skills:

- 4-6 years of experience in Data Extracts.
- 7-9 years of experience in Database Administration.
- 7-9 years of experience in Database Systems Architecture.
- 7-9 years of experience in Oracle.
- 7-9 years of experience in SQL.
