Description:
Oracle DBA needed for a 6 month contract. Contract-to-hire potential. The client is a leader in the healthcare field and the position will be based in Pleasanton, CA. MUST HAVE 10+ years Oracle experience with release 10 or 11.RAC and DataGuard is highly desired (Will be implementing several solutions using those technologies). MUST HAVE: Bachelors degreeETL data extracts (4-6+ years)Database Administration (7-9+ years)Data Systems Architecture (7-9+ years)SQL experience (7-9+ years)LINUX and/or UNIXsignificant experience setting up Data Marts and Data Warehouses (quantify in resume). Desired skills include JDBC, MQ Series, Object Oriented Programming, PERL Scripting. Any EPIC Healthcare applications experience or any other clinical/pharmaceutical experience is a BIG plus. Travel is occasional (day trips to Southern California).W2 only (no third parties, 1099s, or corp-to-corps) Local candidates preferred (no relocation assistance available) Benefits available
