Manufacturing Engineer – Plastic Injection Molding
Great Manufacturing Engineer Opportunity - make a significant impact with a growing company!

RESPONSIBILITIES: + Establish optimal processing parameters for all jobs and support new project start ups. + Maintain cavitation, cycle efficiency, achieve optimal processing parameters and drive cycle time improvements. + Evaluate tooling, attend tooling meetings, and work with Mold Shop to maintain the tooling efficiency. + Provide direction, training, and coaching for Production Line Mechanics + Assist with shift supervision and fill-in supervisor as needed. + Support Safety, Quality, and Productivity goals. + Direct work activities of mechanics as needed. + Travel as needed – Customers, Tool Builders, etc. + Expand education in scientific molding principals & drive throughout organization. + Set-up, repair, and troubleshoot Injection Molding equipment. QUALIFICATIONS: + 7+ years experience in plastic injection molding processing. + Knowledge and application of scientific molding principals. + Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills. + Some supervisory experience a plus. + Degree in Plastics Engineering or equivalent combination of education & experience. + Must have excellent attendance. + Master Molder Certification a plus. + Must be able to multi-task in a fast paced production environment. + Good communication and leadership skills.
