Mold Repair Technician / Tool Maker – Plastic Injection Molding

Duties & Responsibilities: 1. Perform preventative maintenance on molds. 2. Convert molds to meet customer requirements. 3. Repair molds to maintain top tooling efficiency. 4. Observe safe rigging and mold handling practices. 5. Troubleshoot molds for efficient operation, and research for repeat problems. 6. Check and replace hot runner electrical components. 7. Complete mold repair work order and mold repair work sheet. 8. Complete preventative maintenance tool check sheet. 9. Develop efficient ways to complete tasks. 10. Maintain a clean and organized work area. Qualifications: 1. H.S. diploma or equivalent 2. Ability to run tool room equipment safely 3. Must have knowledge of molds 4. Three years mold repair experience
