PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES
We are seeking a Paralegal/ Legal Support Specialist, who will be based in Newtown Square, Pennsylvania, for the Legal Department. Responsibilities:
* Support the Legal team, including the General Counsel, Employment and other Attorneys. Collaboration and teamwork with the rest of the Legal team. Majority of time to be spent in area of Employment and Benefits legal functions.
* Perform a wide variety of paralegal support work ranging from routine to complex including document management, contract processing, relationship management with various vendors/outside law firms, processing of government required filings, responding to subpoenas and document requests, ensuring compliance with all legal documents served on SAP including Subpoena’s, QDRO/KDROs, Garnishments, Summons, etc.
* Communicate with SAP internal and external groups and outside vendors/counsel on a daily basis regarding a variety of employment/benefits and other legal-related topics.
* Provide administrative support as needed including scheduling travel and legal budget and fee management.
* Create, establish and maintain filing systems for legal documentation.
* Maintain legal tracking database.
* Conduct specific legal and factual information research on an as needed basis.
* Draft correspondence.

* The ability to handle confidential information with absolute discretion is required.
* Excellent written and verbal skills are required, as well as the ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization.
* Accuracy, a sense of urgency and attention to detail are essential.
* Preferred candidates will be team oriented, motivated, highly organized, and have the ability to prioritize, coordinate, multitask, and meet numerous deadlines in a face-paced environment.
* Preferred candidates must be able and willing to learn to handle a wide variety of matters and to work independently or collaboratively as the situation may require as well as successfully perform in a team-based environment.
* Preferred candidates will have a demonstrated ability to analyze factual situations and apply legal principles as well as the ability to perform legal research tasks as required.
* Preferred candidates will have strong critical thinking and problem solving skills, and the ability to exercise discretion and independent judgment.
